About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (CA 18812) specializing in individual, couples, and family psychotherapy, in private practice in the city of Murrieta (Riverside County), California.

With fifteen years of experience as a clinician, I specialize in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, an exploratory, in-depth approach to healing trauma, addressing personal and interpersonal deficiencies, and promoting change.

I also have experience in the field of Forensic Psychology: I completed graduate training with the Los Angeles Police Department, Behavioral Sciences Services Unit, and subsequently worked as a Law-Enforcement Officer and Psychologist for the Federal Prison System.

I have presented at various law-enforcement and general-audience conferences and trainings on topics ranging from cultural-diversity, grief, parenting, police culture, work-place violence and others.

I am a pragmatic, interactive, and in-depth Psychologist.  My treatment approach is to provide support and feedback to help clients resolve current problems and identify long-standing patterns.  I incorporate a blend of conventional and alternatives approaches, including the nexus between psychology and spirituality, drawing upon a variety of  techniques to implement a style that will be most helpful for each client.

I aim to work with sensitivity and compassion to help clients build on their strengths, overcome self-defeating patterns, and identify and achieve life goals.
